#TBT: Interesni Kazki

Being that in the internet world it's #TBT I found it fitting to share with you the giant mural painted by Interesni Kazki out in Cuidad del Carmen in Campeche, Mexico back in August/September for FAVCA - Festival of Visual Arts of Campeche. With the flicks of the whole wall finally up it was surely well worth the wait to see the final beast of a wall that the two hand painted. Every detail is filled with references to Mexican culture and the deeply rooted Mayan and Aztec civilizations, from the various prehistoric masks to the very recent detailing of offshore oil drilling - an incredible way of tying in history with modern times. Be sure to check out Interesni Kazki's blog for all of the close-ups of this wonderfully festive and folkloric piece.
