After his "Structurally Sound" solo show at White Walls Gallery in San Francisco Kofie hit up the streets of the Tenderloin district of S.F. and painted this quick mural. Still keeping the original Patek-Ecklon type and crown logo signage that was painted in the mid 40’s, Kofie "wanted to make sure [he] respected the original signage, even though the business is defunct, it’s still a landmark ghost sign for the area." Softly dissipating into the building side it's as though his piece has faded over time together with the signage which is a beautiful effect. Be sure to check out progress shots on his blog.
