Seven Deadly Sins

Recently painted at the Victoria India Rubber Mill on Leith Walk in Edinburgh, Scotland by Australian artist Guido van Helten, this new mural is a part of the Leith Late mural project series. It's a stunning rendition referenced from archival photographs from the play, 'Seven Deadly Sins,' portraying two actresses from a photo taken back in 1961. Beautifully painted in his monochromatic portraiture style he plays with shades and transparencies to highlight characteristics each face, very similar to a stencil approach. Also, be sure to check out the video below of the work in progress of this stunner.
