The Forest For The Trees Northwest project has been going on all week up in Portland, Oregon, "a public mural project based with the goal of engaging the community in the process of art-making, to eliminate the boundary between artist and viewer, and to encourage engagement and interaction with these renowned artists as they inspire with their process and craft." I was really excited to see that Blaine Fontana was one of the participating artists, who's a treat to see out on the streets. He painted a beautifully peaceful mural, as in his paintings thoroughly embracing nature and bold colors and shapes with this koi fish piece. Be sure to check out FFTTNW's blog for more updates on the project.
