Painted in his hometown of Cordoba, Argentina at the UCC University of Architecture this latest mural from Elian is his first public art diptych. In his words: "As always, I let the environment be a part of the main characteristics of the artwork. In this case, all the chromatic development is modified by the different backgrounds. We can see the piece on the left with super bright colors and white on the background. On the right the saturation becomes less than her sister piece, because all the colors lose sharpness with the concrete, and this dirty gray starts to become part of the artwork... All of the composition is made thinking of this diptych concept. Without the repetition of the elements in both pieces, it´s impossible to generate a comparison. It is necessary to place the same shapes in different situations to understand the functionality of this." Photo by the artist.
