In the medieval town of Schmalkalden, Germany is the Wallcome Project curated by Akut and Case, who have invited 6 other artists to paint large murals in their hometown. While we already saw 3 murals go up for the project which is spread out over the course of a few months Wallcome is welcoming murals to the rural streets with some fresh works including this new piece by Pixel Pancho. Featuring a robot boy with a football (soccer ball) in hand, the mural was painted in "the context of the recent World Cup in Brazil, [with] the artwork emblematic of the original stadium of many football players - the street." Be sure to head on over to their site for full detail and progress shots of this wall and check back as more walls get completed over the summer.
