Europa and The Winged Bird

After her last wall in Glasgow, Faith47 has made her way down to London, England where she was invited to be a part of the Dulwich Picture Gallery Project, curated by Ingrid Beazly. As a part of the project street artists are asked to bless the streets with their own interpretations of paintings that can be found in the Dulwich Picture Gallery, England’s oldest public gallery, with Faith47′s selection being Guido Reni’s ‘Europa and The Bull.’ Referencing the old master painting she replaced the bull with a guiding bird suggesting “a premonition of the abduction to come, her inner emotions and thoughts or perhaps a new interpretation of the ancient fable.”
