The Festival Internacional de Arte Público on Holbox Island in Mexico ended this Sunday with a stunning set of murals by over a dozen urban artists from Mexico and Canada. The festival is the first of its kind in the area hoping to raise the conceptual level of regional art and promote the idea of creating Cancun and the Riviera Maya as potential 'Arts Destinations.' This collaborative piece by Curiot and Jason Botkin painted on the Concha Acústica of Holbox is absolutely killer, combining organic imagery that references the cultural folklore of the area. For all of the murals from the festival head on over to their page here.
