Ogarna 2.0 is the latest project organized by Fundacja Urban Forms and Gdansk City Hall, in Gdansk, Poland that brought contemporary artistic facades to tenement houses in the Orgarna St. neighborhood of Gdansk. The aim of the project is to revitalize the heart of the city that many have forgotten, referring to the local tradition of wall painting and is a continuation of the process of rebuilding and restoring the cities former glory after WWII. Some of the best Polish contemporary artists were invited to participate, including (left to right) Maciej Pakalski , Proembrion, and Chazme all of whom were inspired by the architecture, organic design and geometry to create these stunning facades. Be sure to check out all of the final walls for the project here - enjoy!
